I think your whole pov is confused. You want the system to improve itself peacefully but acknowledge to some extent that’s not what improved it before. You don’t want a proper revolution but instead small incremental improvements yet don’t seem to understand the way things are now is a logical result of how our current system is structured. Tbh your viewpoint here just seems kind of naive.

The system didn’t improve itself peacefully throughout the 20th century bro wtf are you smoking
It doesn’t. If it was really a concern it’d be better to beat them to the technology

science@lemmy.world•Billion-times more efficient nuclear fusion could be unlocked with low-frequency lasersEnglish
2·2 months ago$6.5k AUD 3 years ago for lasik. Prk would have been 5k. I wouldn’t be worried about mistakes, the opthamologist does the procedure like 15 times a week and the laser machine is tracking your eye movement at 1kHz. Mistakes are almost unheard of. Where your issue may lie is if your eye is physically not good for the surgery, like if your prescription is too strong or cornea too thin. They do a bunch of tests and discuss what’s right for you.

1·2 months agoBro I totally get it, but I’m in the exact same boat as OP. Have an old ender 3 I stopped using and wouldn’t mind printing again but so over fucking around. If I get a printer again I’ll want plug and play.

The irony being their pov is just regurgitation of propaganda by these companies that consumers are to blame.
