I see your argument, but I’ve never heard of anything like that happening, and locked-both-sides deadbolts are presumably legal in Australia since basically every house has them.

It’s not for me. The deadbolt only gets locked when everyone is out of the house. The idea is to make robbing the place discretely harder. Sure, windows remain a weakness, but if a thief enters through the window and cannot open the door, they have to leave via the window too.

I want to get some kind of smart lock myself, but I can’t find one that would adequately replace what I have in terms of security. Basically, the combination of an Australian deadbolt (which can only be opened or locked with a key regardless of which side of the door you’re on) and a regular latch, allowing the door essentially to be in one of three states: unlocked, locked from the outside, and locked from both sides. Such a product doesn’t seem to exist. They can all be opened by hand on the inside. And I feel this would cause my insurance to go up being less secure.

No reason for the devs to do that, either. There should be, even for mobile games, but there isn’t.

Usually the scroll wheel moves the viewpoint, not the content. I.e. Scrolling the top of the wheel towards yourself (“down”) moves the viewpoint down the page, making the content appear to move up.

I think Souls games went too far tho. If we stayed at DS1 level that’d be one thing, but the Elden Ring DLC just went stupid with it.

Yeah, I have 96gb and I still assign a zram swap, just in case. I also have a zram tmp, and a zram for my portage compilation dir (I use Gentoo). The latter gets the most use.
