E-Autos könnten sehr wohl die Lösung sein, so lange man verpflichtet ist, einen gewissen Anteil der Akkuladung bei Bedarf ins Netz zurückzuspeisen. So ein dezentraler Speicher könnte sogar richtig gut sein.

Und diesen Schwachsinn, dass das Auto einen lauten Ton von sich geben muss, sollte man direkt wieder abschaffen. Wie geil das war als die ersten E-Autos lautlos unterwegs waren. Jetzt muss ich mir ständig son heulenden Ton von den Nachbarn anhören. Und natürlich muss der dicke Audi SUV den lautesten Ton von sich geben. Könnte ja sein, man kriegt nicht mit was für ein teures Auto sich der Nachbar für die nächsten 15 Jahre finanziert hat.

I know what you mean, but it’s not really possible to manually denoise a picture the way the AI denoiser does. Let alone within 10 seconds. Plus, it’s more of a niche usage. I don’t think it consumes all that much energy.

Generating shitty images, creating deepfakes, prompting all kinds of bullshit… now that is a waste of energy as it really just makes the world worse. AI generated articles are popping up all over the internet. They aren’t even reviewed anymore. Enshittification of the internet took some gigantic strides since the AI boom.

Lol, Copilot is easily the dumbest AI assistant. It’s completely useless, it just spews bullshit.

The only really useful AI thing is the denoiser in Adobe Lightroom. I can shoot pictures in pitch black darkness with the highest ISO settings. Obviously it is a grainy mess. The denoiser manages to clean that up while retaining all of the details. It’s really fucking great!

Anything else is just novelty bullshit.

Naja, weiße Deutsche, die das gleiche machen sind halt auch primitiv. So ein Balzverhalten hat doch in unserer Spezies nichts mehr verloren. Schau doch mal wie viele sich über ihr dickes, deutsches Auto identifizieren. Das sind meist Menschen mit wenig Persönlichkeit und haben in der Regel recht rückständige Meinungen, was die Rolle von Männern und Frauen angeht. Andere Gender mal ausgenommen, denn hier zeigen die meist null Toleranz. Und leider ist es so, dass es Kulturen gibt, in denen Jungs gezielt so erzogen werden, dass sie zu solchen Machos werden. Auch unter den weißen Deutschen gibt es solche Subkulturen. Das kann man gerne mal kritisieren, da es nicht inhärent was mit Rassen zu tun hat, sondern mit gesellschaftlichem Verhalten.

I’m inclined to agree. While life is kinda good in Europe, it’s getting more and more difficult to lead a somewhat wealthy and happy life here. And now the fucking Nazis are on the rise again, it makes me sick. I’d absolutely prefer to live in NZ or Australia but I don’t want to tear my daughter away from her social surroundings just yet.

Mate, they closed the power plants because they have long surpassed their design operating hours. The upkeep alone costs so ridiculously much, no one can pay that kind of shit. Germany has even postponed the closing date due to the immediate crisis the Russians have created.

Most people who are against nuclear power, have the following reasons:

• it’s the most expensive form of energy due to massive regulations
• the power plants take way too long to build
• nuclear waste is a problem, no one wants to have it buried near their homes
• the fissile material is already rare and difficult to come by, mostly sourced from politically difficult regions, such as fucking Russia

Nuclear power is not a solution.
