This article makes it seem like Young has any sort of value, which he doesn’t. At best they’d be getting a return similar to trey lance, which was a 4th round pick. And at least with Lance, you could say there wasn’t enough tape to really make a call. Bryce young looks like a child on the field. All this said as a dwindling panthers fan.
Also, this quote from the article about the jets just made me chuckle.
They look foolish for how they mishandled Geno Smith and Sam Darnold, both of whom are finding a much higher level of performance elsewhere.
Those are lyrics from a limp biskit song, with the line said by the patient being the next line in the song. But that line is also from a song by the who, in which he stutters the generation part. Joke is he’s trying to get rid of a stutter, but in failing says another songs lyric. Hope that wasn’t too circular in the explanation.
The wheels of justice turn slowly, but once they do- the rich have already moved on.
Probably Late Night With The Devil. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but I want to.
The ‘Twenty thousand years of this, seven more to go’ always clicked so hard for me.
Binders full of sofas.
Reminds me of the AccuWeather ceo/trump appointee who wanted to sell off all the us gov weather satellites so it could be privatized. Everything must be commodified.
Look at this douchecanoe sailing up in his douche canoe.
He’s always been the one to say the quiet part out loud.
Henson expects La Niña, which is associated with cooler temperatures, to take effect later this year and subsequently reduce average temperatures.
“Even if next year doesn’t bring similar records, we know what the long term forecast is, and that’s warmer and warmer over time,” Henson said, adding: “When you turn up the burners and leave them on for a century, you’re going to see the water boil.”
When it’s 0.1 degrees cooler next year and it gets reported as a cooling trend.
Edit: I guess that quote was from the NBC article about the same, here’s archive:
Trump getting immunity from the SC only to squander it by allowing discovery isn’t my first choice, but damn would that be hilarious.
I blocked them a while ago, had forgotten all about them but until this post haha. My account here is defined far more by its block list than the subs list.
Haha, yeah as soon as I got to 5 I thought there’s where the baseline has been since childhood.
A lot of states (mine included) have already had their primaries, so if he steps aside then those states will not have had a say in selecting the democratic candidate. I’m guessing the talking point will then shift to something along the lines of ‘I didn’t get a choice in who the next candidate will be, so I’m not voting’ or calling for all states to re-run their primaries like that’s an option.
Should he decide to step aside, it’ll be fun watching the pivot from ‘Biden should step down’ to ‘how could the dnc just pick someone like that, how undemocratic!’ Same people, same agenda.
And the enshittification of Spotify rolls on.
Also available on iphone (downloading it now), ready to drop maps as the degoogling continues.
Obviously you’re acting in bad faith here, but for anyone else that sees this chain and thinks hypnoton over here isn’t full of it, here’s the first two paragraphs of the article. Long story short, he was set to give a speech at a convention, workers went on strike and everyone involved is doing the exact same thing as Biden.
A strike by the staff of the nation’s largest teachers’ union has prompted President Biden to cancel a speech on Sunday in Philadelphia, where he was scheduled to address thousands of delegates to the union’s annual convention.
The staff union of the National Education Association began its strike on Friday, citing management’s revocation of holiday overtime pay for the Fourth of July holiday and its refusal to provide information on $50 million in outsourced work that may have previously been done by N.E.A. staff. The strike has shut down the last three days of the four-day convention, as delegates declined to cross a picket line.
Tying deregulation to improving birth rates is definitely one of the weirder libertarian takes I’ve heard, pure Peter Thiel I’m sure.
