its basically bing with less ads and planting trees with part of the profit. You can test it out a bit and then test another or keep it. Search hopping is easy

i suggest not using google because its a privacy nightmare.
Alternatives are DuckDuckGo which is not entirely trustworthy because it uses Bing under the hood, same with ecosia.

Startpake got recently kicked out of the default search engines for waterfox for a reason maybe privacy related? That one has google under the hood.

Now the ones i can reccomend:
searxng (if you have the ressources, its selfhost)
Qwant (no AI stuff, funded by the french for the french, free to use by all but the default in french shools and recently the european parliament in an effort to ditch google)

The ones with their cake day around may and a bit later in 2023 are most likely here because of the API changes. After that its mostly alt accounts on a new instance, privacy reasons and bans

i assume i got lucky but at least i know that they are only dead when (probably my) blood is spilled. i will never risk pests getting out alive after my experience with head lice

Waterfox/Librewolf + uBlock + my addons + whatever other addons i like

They are like Firefox but stripped off mozillas bs to something thats cleaner. And because they are based on Firefox (Gecke engine) they also support manifest v2 and all the really good adblockers (i mean uBlock)

Not food & stuff but maybe try to unsub from communites that make you feel bad for a while. Like politics and news (and you can join back later when feeling better)

yes, that made it hard to find after i finally got at least the swedish name and tried to translate it.
I used wikipedia as a translator in the end (open article in different language and chose a language then i understood)

i think they think about booth.
Because the fly does shed its wings and likes hair but according to wikipedia only the ticks carry dangerous disease.
Also booth seem annoying to remove and at least the fly (like lice) seems to needs a bit more force
