This happened few days back, I was on a bus and the bus conductor had this infectious smile, the way he was happy and talking to people as he was asking for bus tickets felt wholesome. There was also this lady who appeared to not know the local language who was looking cluelessly as he was talking to the others, he then realised she didn’t know the language and he switched to the language she was speaking and made up something funny which I didn’t understand because I don’t know the language. Seeing how he was able to cheer up the travellers felt wholesome, it gave me much needed positivity for the rest of the day even though he didn’t talk to me or anything, it had me thinking how better our life would be if more people were like this.
Same effect
The ceasefire is indeed good, but what this will mean is that any future attacks by Pakistan based terror groups in India would be dealt with the same way as seen in the past week, so such attack we saw over the week would become frequent if there is any provocation.
Yes, India and Pakistan in 1999. Both sides refrained from using nukes
This was expected, no way India would not retaliate after that terrorist attack by Pakistan based terror groups. This attack was mostly on terror camps and no military sites were targeted. Hopefully both would de-escalate after this.
India and Pakistan is mostly posturing, there won’t be a full fledged war between the two, just some limited strike by India to show they did something as a political stunt.
Hey just a heads up, You may have toggled the Bot account in your account setting. Not that it degrades the experience in anyway but you have this bot icon when you make a comment, funny if you did it intentionally.
I am curious as to why you think so that it’s not intended for desktop applications. I don’t really have a say in server applications as I don’t use any such software. What I use W10 LTSC is mainly for my engineering softwares which won’t work properly with WINE. All normal software that you expect to work in home version also seems to be working minus all the bloat and more control over configuration. I feel like it’s the most clean version of windows that one can use now.
Thank you! I will have a look. Do u also happen to know where I could check instances defederated or blocked by dbz?
Wait! Which piracy community does world bkoack? And is it possible to check all the communities or instances blocked by world?
Butterflies and Hurricanes in my Ass.
I love Muse!
If you can’t switch to Linux past w10 eol for some reason, then you should probably switch to W10 LTSC version which has extended support and would receive updates for few more years.
You want to share want happened?
He might be aware of this information, but I will pass this message to him, thanks on his behalf!
I know a friend who is about to go there in May for his MBA, the last time we talked he said he has no choice as he is already full in, he has taken loans and already completed the first year in some sort of online hybrid clsss so he can’t back off now as he says his life will be destroyed if he does so. So at this point he can only hope that he isn’t targeted. Seeing these news I can only imagine how dire it is, I hope he can work something out and don’t get himself into this mess.
In jerboa I end up accidentally downvoting comment when I scroll, I imagine it must be people doing the same without even realising.
I like this about Lemmy too, I am also guilty of one liners as I have also made them, but I try not to in a serious discussion. In reddit if you take a highly upvoted post most often the top comment would be some joke and the follow ups are riding that joke, even if someone makes some good well thought out comment, the following comment seems jokes or one liners picking on the comment. Good comments gets buried underneath all the trash comments and it feel like a chore digging through those comments to find some meaningful comment. I understand when this happens in meme/shit posts but when it happens in tech or serious post i get pissed.
I knew about Lemmy 3 years ago and joined lemmy during the api bullshit about 2 years ago. After that, I had my time where I went back to reddit ocassionally as initially I felt there were way less content on Lemmy, but every time I went back I just couldn’t get along with reddit, even though the content was high lot of it were just trash and the comments weren’t engaging and mostly toxic or circle-jerking. I am glad that I am now settled in Lemmy and have now limited reddit to only finding answers to obscure tech problems.
You need to find better source then
