5·10 days agoFor anyone trying to quit, I yo-yo’d on and off for years. What helped me finally kick them was really focusing on how bad they were making me feel when I started again each time. I needed the ‘failures’ to start getting the contrast between being on and off them. Also I didnt step foot inside a gas station (pretty much the only place tobacco is sold here) for like two years. Just walking in there was like a pavlovian response I had to break.

Basically the main character is the sole survivor in a word of vampiresque monsters. He tries a bit to find a cure while strugging with intense loneliness. During the night he hides in his fortified house. By day, he goes out and hunts them as they sleep. At the end of the book he is captures and put on trial for his heinous acts. They arent monsters really, its a new society, and he is their boogeyman, killing inocent people while they slept. He is the monster. In this new world he will become a legend of old, the monster in the day.

It is 6.8 L of pure alochol over the year. Obviously not consumed as pure alcohol, just a way of including all types of drinks.
2·16 days agoGet a webcam and place it prominently in their house, when askes tell them they have nothing to hide so youd like to watch. Bonus points for putting in the bedroom or bathroom.

I asked IT if they could disable onedrive and they did for me, I was surprised they said yes but they didnt care at all. Doesnt hurt to ask
9·1 month agoThe high water usage is because the flooding acts as a weed suppressor, its not actually a hard requirement.
Ya closing several massive research centers is probably a bad choice
