6 days agoI know that plastic recycling was a scam for the most part (types 5 & 7 4 & 6 specifically). But that’s type 2 plastic (HDPE) which is properly recyclable in 99% of places. So that’s a plus.
Edit: Apparently my eyes are shit and that is type 5. So no silver-lining here after all, just more dread.
Edit 2: I’ve been informed that types 4 & 6 (plastic bags/wraps and Styrofoam) are the bad plastics. So this is recyclable in a lot of places. Silver lining restored!
And if you thought opening the door would stop them; like with the older models, think again! You’re getting those 5 loud-ass beeps, whether you want them or not!
