A #ttrpg nerd and a #rodent lover.
Pfp is my #hamster, Mister Peanut Butter, looking shocked at me taking a picture of him while he’s busy grooming himself. Banner picture is of my two #cavy boars, Oreo (right) and Coffecake (left), who are claiming that I have never fed them once and will soon starve to death, despite the full food bowl behind them.

Xilabar the Dice Goblin@dice.campOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How long could a kid be sent to juvie for trespassing on museum property i proximity to a robbery?1·1 month agoWell, the thing she definitely (but not proveably) stole is basically something like a mix between the Millenium Puzzle, the Lament Configuration, and the Behelit. Very very bad news to have stolen, and under normal circumstances the only person to have a motive to steal it would be the next dark lord.

I don’t think so. We’re going to see *normal* malice from government employees. For example, the macguffin she stole was being displayed in a museum as bait for Baby Voldemort, who happens to be her best friend. Normally the dark lordling isn’t a team player and would just charge in and grab it, so there was a security team to nab anyone who tried to steal it and then Get Rid Of Them. Obviously detaining people for pre-crime is not legal, so this was a secret operation.

Huh. I never considered that. I think i need to rework her backstory a bit, since I wrote that she’d already been to juvie once in 2nd grade when she turned the school bully into a speedbump. If there’s a minimum age for criminal liability, what would happen to that murder charge?

Fantasy setting, gonna be inspired by America because that’s what I know. Main change is that lawyers are, by nature of the magic system, always wizards. The actual story takes place in magic school, and this isn’t the main character so the trial isn’t going to be given much attention.
Xilabar the Dice Goblin@dice.campOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How long could a kid be sent to juvie for trespassing on museum property i proximity to a robbery?3·1 month agoFor context, the macguffin in question is something like a cross between the Millenium Puzzle and the Lament Configuration. It takes a powerful mind and will to solve it, and the sort of people who are drawn to it will do great things—terrible, yes, but great. It’s reasonable to assume this 10-year-old middle-class white girl stole it because she’s going to grow up to be the next Voldemort, so I think its reasonable for the judge to throw the book at her.

Thanks. The pictures give me a pretty good idea of the scale of these things.

Level 20? Finale? What is this sorcery? Everyone knows dnd campaigns only end due to scheduling conflicts!

Xilabar the Dice Goblin@dice.campOPto 196@lemmy.blahaj.zone•Tbh the 196 drama was more fun to be here for than when I logged in on 12/30 to see Dansup had been having a meltdown for six hours straight over 3rd party apps2·5 months ago@Casuallynoted
I was just thinking: there has to be other screenshots of his meltdown, right? The one i found can’t be the only one?Tbh I don’t want to cancel him or anything, his code is better than mine and on the whole he seems about as okayish as @db0. I dont think he’s gonna go mad with power and pull an Elon with Pixelfed, and I think he’s probably a good dude offline. Like, at worst I might accuse him of being a libertarian or an ancap. He’s probably fine.
@unexposedhazard
Honestly, so did I
@hernanca @ThisIsAManWhoKnowsHowToGling
Yeah, in that scene where he is yelling at Aragorn “Where was Gondor when the Westfold fell?”, he is disrespecting one of his elders directly to their face.

I posted what i could find screenshots of because he’s deleted all of his six hour tantrum (as one should). Here’s forensic evidence of the tantrum: https://community.nodebb.org/topic/7f9e8ac8-dbdd-4265-9606-8e5954f1255c/so-many-ppl-want-me-to-quit-or-otherwise-not-participate-in-the-fediverse.Dansup is the only dev of both Pixelfed and loops.video because he does not not want to share the spotlight. On 12/09, Pixeldroid (a FOSS client) was released. Dansup took this as a personal insult, so when he released his own app he started attacking users of other clients (which were his fans)

Yeah, fuckem

Minor correction: the word for this is paramagnetic. Paramagnetism happens when a molecule has unpaired electrons, whereas diamagnetism happens when a molecule has no unpaired electrons. You’re pretty much entirely right, though
Xilabar the Dice Goblin@dice.campto Dungeons and Dragons@lemmy.world•What dnd character concepts do you wish you could get to play?3·6 months ago@Godnroc @ThisIsAManWhoKnowsHowToGling
Feel like this is the edgy relative of the classic Cleric Inquisitor archetype who uses Healing Word and Revivify for enhanced interrogation of “sinners”.
