We can and should get all of those benefits without the magical thinking. I wish people would stop tolerating literal death cults.

It’s about control. They want one man, one woman, no experience, having kids. That way the parents will do a terrible job raising their children, and will spend all their time working instead of living, sustaining the cycle of abuse. It also fits with the christian heirarchy (patriarchy) of “woman obey man, man obey god.”

It’s a death cult. Too many people still don’t seem to realize how bad it is.

But they did not provide a method for reposting the criticism, they replaced it with a useless offer.

But we may be at the end of productivity when it comes to our conversation. I believe they banned/censored a piece of valid and potentially life-saving criticism.

Because it’s accurate, not misleading. They banned that criticism, they are taking an anti-trans stance.

Trans rights are human rights. Are you a bot? I can’t imagine why else you don’t care about your own rights.

I have social anxiety and low self esteem. I am always worried that people think poorly of me and it will cause problems. The root cause is my parents’ mistreatment of me, but there are many factors that fuel it, including social media.

My version of an evil comment section in my head is my parents. I have to remind myself that they were wrong, I do not deserve punishment for trying my best. Criticism can be helpful, but avoid tearing yourself down. Mistakes are natural. Punishment does not help us avoid mistakes. Patient, thoughtful correction is more effective. It’s not all-or-nothing.

Please be kind to yourself. 🙂

The meeting with Acton herself is offered and determined to be the best course of action. No mention of resubmitting the post, even though that is what they explicitly asked about.

They’re pretending the intolerance is reasonable:

I think they mean, “I’m scared of not winning when I deserve to win, and I hate people who try to take that from me.”

From my point of view, it is reasonable to affirm one’s gender, it is fair to let everybody play in a game if they follow the rules. But I don’t care who wins, and apparently that is very important to some people.

Mine does this as well. I have not found a fix, but a workaround: in the settings, change “navigation mode” from 3-button to Gesture. I had to do this to save my profile info, the navigation buttons were covering up the “Save” button. Then I changed it back, because they usually don’t get in the way and I hate gesture navigation.

I hope to get a GrapheneOS or something soon to replace this old Samsung/Google thing.

But I agree about how off-putting it is for so many people to continue profiting off his death. They are scavengers milking a corpse for all they can. It’s not about respecting the person he was, it’s about shamelessly exploiting him for their own gain.

…and that is intolerably transphobic. Do not pretend that misgendering someone is an acceptable course of action.
