Costco pizza is amazing. The cheese has SO MUCH CHEESE on it. I like to order that and then shake some Slap Ya Mama on it.

Their pizza isn’t bad, for a large pizza that you can walk in the door and walk out with without calling ahead, and which costs less than ten dollars American in the year of Our Lord J-Town two thousand twenty and six.
It’s actually pretty remarkable given those conditions.

But it stinks so good!

Interesting that you want to argue that the world isn’t black and white while arguing that simple party affiliation determines whether someone deserves sympathy or villification for the same action.
This is a very “only the Sith deal in absolutes!” type of statement.
Nonsense. No one is arguing that “simple party affiliation” is what makes gerrymandering okay.
California’s law specifically triggered only if Texas went through with their proposed gerrymander. It also has an expiration date following the 2030 census, at which point the California Citizens Redistricting Commission will resume their duties.
Please tell me you realize these are not the same. If you cannot see the difference, you are either a zealot or arguing in poor faith.

Dirty and underhanded? Sure. “Just as” dirty and underhanded? No.
The world is not black and white. People are not either pure or utterly corrupt. Everything is a spectrum, everything a matter of degree.

Jimmy Carter would be so proud.

Woof. This recent wave of redditors has no patience.

From the article:
A U.S. District Court in September struck down the Trump Administration’s cancelation of $2.2 billion in research funding to Harvard, restoring critical grants supporting lifesaving research. But with two major federal grants ending in the near future, Yankner isn’t sure how forthcoming new rounds of funding might be.

It really is phenomenal. And he’s so good in the role.

That’s an encyclopedia’s job.
I’m in this comic and I don’t appreciate being called “Alec.”

Chernobyl (which I believe this image is from) was such a damn good miniseries.

I’ll be very curious to hear the outcome of this. On the one hand, Boeing. On the other, these switches really shouldn’t be a problem, they’ve been used for years without issue, and it seems exceptionally unlikely that someone could “accidentally” turn them both off one after another right after takeoff as happened in the fatal crash. And Air India could be reporting an “issue” with them to avoid responsibility, I guess? I’m not sure.
Like I said, very curious.

Y’all should read the judge’s order, it’s fantastic.
The Bible verses are cited after the order, at the end, along with a picture of the kid. While they certainly are religious, one could make the argument that they are being cited culturally. And, for what it’s worth, they aren’t in the body of the order nor are they used as part of the judge’s argument.

Yep. Steam Deck does a great job with this, too.
The second amendment was never intended to let the people overthrow the government. It was intended to serve instead of a standing army for the defense of the republic. Madison didn’t want military power centralized in the Federal government.
There’s a reason the gay republicans call themselves “Log Cabin Republicans.”

Oh man. I was young and naive enough when I started playing RuneScape that I fell for that scam SUPER early. I didn’t have anything worth stealing, but it still felt awful.
I devoted a significant amount of time to crafting steel armor and weapons and giving them freely to new players when they spawned in, because I felt like I would take the evil done to young me and turn it into good.
What do you mean?
