I don’t think so. Putin lost his puppet, Trump is out of control because he is (too) easy to bribe.
I really think that Putin, as « evil » he can be, don’t want a nuclear escalation. On the other hand Trump is so dumb that he thinks that nobodies have the capacity to make nuclear bomb and just he could have the power to do so. Sadly he will die, from old age or other, before seeing the result of his actions
