7·7 days agoI use obsidian extensively, and I love it. It certainly does seem to use WAY more system resources than it should though, and I assume that electron is to blame. It’s a shame they didn’t base it on a different framework.
Perhaps someone who knows more about web development can explain what sort of upsides electron brings with it.

Personal Taste ≠ Bigotry
It is ridiculous to think that anyone has to like or prefer something. That’s like saying there is something wrong for not liking the taste of licorice. If she thinks two girls kissing is gross, that’s fine, she is allowed to feel how she feels. If she thinks that two girls kissing is wrong on some moral or ethical level she is being a bigot.
There is a huge difference there, and it is extremely important in today’s world to understand this difference.
