There are any number of methods, but the goal is being aware that you are in a dream.

The methods I found most effective were dream journaling and reality testing.

Everyday, you record whatever concrete information you definitely remember happening in the dream, even if it’s just a red t-shirt someone was wearing for example.

Write it down somewhere, journal or notepad.

Very rapidly, you’ll begin remembering more and more of your dreams.

That helps you recognize a dream state.

The other thing I did is reality testing, when you make sure you’re awake.

So I will basically wave a hand or a couple fingers every now and then during the day and try to move something with my mind.

And then one day I was in my garage and as a reality rest, I telekinetically lifted the hood on my car.

And when the hood lifted, I realized “oh, I’m dreaming.”

Once you’re aware, the most important thing is to stay calm and not make drastic changes. Just tried to influence what you can within the context of the dream, and then you get better and better at it.

  • I got into lucid dreaming and one of the peaks was when I could finally taste dream food.

I was at a dream New Year’s party and there were cupcakes and I usually try to eat dream food but it messes with my dream and I usually wake up.

But that time I ate a cupcake and it was like the best cupcake I ever had. I was ecstatic

    It was pretty cool.

  • I also appreciate a beep, but by te third note it becomes a tune and I want to throw it out the window.

Or the appliance that just has a flat monotone beep but it has to be like six times cl and you can’t adjust that.

You should definitely search for your appliance beeping or notification noise adjust or turn off, cuz a lot of them have a factory setting or something where you can hold in the power button for 10 seconds and turn it off or change it or something like that.

  • Completely occupying Palestinian land has been the plan for over half a century.

With this terrorist attack, Israel is trying to wrap it up.

They could have completed their colonization under the guise of righteous vengeance, but:

That now has very little chance of succeeding because of three important factors 1) it’s taking much too long 2)they’re indisputably committing witnessed, recorded and shared war crimes and 3) the goodwill they’ve accumulated for 70 years as a stabilizing ally is wearing off pretty quickly.

There’s more support for Palestine now than there has been with these same Israeli attacks occurring for the past 70 years.

Palestine is officially recognized by 145 countries or so at this point.

So, likely scenario is there’s going to be a ceasefire eventually and a similar paltry amount of land will be given to a nascent “official” Palestinian authority under the practical authority of Israel, which is not ideal, but it might actually result in the beginning of a two-state solution that’s been suggested since Israel became a country.

In practical terms, Palestine getting a “country”, not much will change between Israel and Palestine because the establishment of Palestine doesn’t affect the fundamental religious conflict between the two.

That’s where it looks like it’s headed.

I hope I’m wrong and something better happens.
