News@lemmy.world•‘We were attacked as bad Jews’: Columbia faculty who supported Gaza protests file claims with Trump’s antisemitism fund
15·5 days agoGood for them!
Every U.S. Jew I know feels the same way; the administration has done unspeakable things to untold number of people, all while claiming it’s on behalf of “the Jews” who want no part of it.
This is Trump and his Zionist donors’ disaster, and they don’t get to pin it on anyone who happens to be Jewish.

Did managers expect the meatware to stick to repetitive slog work while unsupervised robots, trained on Reddit and Pornhub comments, deliver them new products and profits from thin air?

politics @lemmy.world•Trump Is Making America Uninsured Again - The GOP is heading into the midterms as the party that made health coverage out of reach for millions of Americans.
32·23 days agoAs opposed to actively making things worse? Absolutely.
“Not actively destroying everything” is a far cry from “not doing anything.”
Here’s the thing: Under today’s US political system, we have two parties: The party actively trying to dismantle all the gains of the past 100 years, and… Everyone else. The GOP call them “the dems,” but in reality, that huge tent encompasses EVERYONE else, who may not agree on much, but at least want to stop the bleeding.

Congress has already established the “just kidding, bro” rule (by which it took back previously allocated funds from NPR and other public broadcasters), so I want the next Congress to promise they remove all this corrupt funding on Day 1.
