Wimster@europe.pubto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•Lemmy has the ideal number of posts for me. Just enough to have a good time but not too many that I'm scrolling forever191·4 天前Just be aware that there are many haters here too. A few days ago I posted a positive message about the EU and… oh my God… what a wave of negativity and hate I get. It was just like we - in the EU - are now living under the authoritarian regime of the EU. My reaction was… I’m out of here, so I’m not in that community anymore. I hoped that Lemmy was a more “positive” community, but that seems to be a naive world view. There will always be haters and they are everywhere.

Personaly I don’t want the UK back in the EU. We had to many problems with the UK. Always cherry picking EU laws or block them when they were not in their personal interest. It was always the UK who was asking for excepctions and when something went wrong back in the UK, they ALWAYS blamed it on the EU. They had no scrupules to shit on the EU all the time. 65 months after BrexitI tought the UK would be super rich by now, since they saved about £350m/month to invest in the NHS? Working closer together… I’m fine with that. Back in the EU… no thank you very much.
