I don’t play a ton of worker placement, but I enjoyed it a touch more than Lords of Waterdeep, which is a good beginner worker placement. Part of that is the abundance of theming - there’s a ton of personality - the “to-go” orders that one kiosk has names for each order, and those are funny - Ennui Cavill, Oracle Winfrey. It is a bit “point salad”, one person was focusing on “Celebri-teas”, someone else on to-gos, there’s the Basic Witches, the Add-ons. Decent depth, I think.

These two will be running in the fall, though I wonder if the groups (including some with ties to white nationalism) that spent $2.5m on her will do so again in the fall. He raised $380k, mostly small donors.

Fun fact - Texas senate doesn’t meet this year, so he might not have a ton to do before the next election, but he’ll run as an incumbent, will be getting ready for next year’s session, and it’s also a nice pants-shitting moment for the Tarrant county Republican Party which is already in the midst of a party purity jihad.

There are several. US debt is then worth less. Exporting things becomes easier because they cost less. In theory we could get more tourists because it would cost less to vacation here.

But an unstable dollar means the percentage we return on bonds must be higher, importing things costs more, which affects (and affects) inflation. Travelling overseas costs us more. Finally, reduces American power in the world.
