What are you talking about? I did the same thing, except I upgraded from an XS Max to a 15 Pro Max, and it is a phenomenal phone. It doesn’t suck in any way.

There is no “excessive battery drain”, that’s ridiculous. That has to do with your system settings and how you use your phone. Period.

The “overheating issue” has been corrected by software updates, but even with mine still on 17.0.2 I don’t experience very much heat that I would ever call “overheating”— it’s more like it gets a little warm on occasion, that’s all that is.

My battery gets me through the day, the night, and the following day without charging and I play plenty of games for my battery to take a hit and it hasn’t dropped below 45% once since I got it on October 13.

The 15PM is a beautiful phone and it’s future proofed with USB-C among other nice features exclusive to it. I don’t think it’s right to misguide the OP regarding the iPhone 13PM & 15PM.

Why didn’t you mention the notorious screen issues associated with the iPhone 13 series? (White screen, flickering, and green screen) you can read about it here.

  • So you want an iPhone that’s one color with a SIM tray that’s another color? I don’t even know if the iPhone 15’s SIM tray (outside the USA, like in the UK) is the same size and cutout as that of your iPhone 13. I wouldn’t try it just because I wouldn’t want to force it, but if you end up acquiring an iPhone 15 with a SIM tray and want to try anyway just make sure the SIM trays are the EXACT same size and shape.

Yes, it is. If your iPhone is on iOS 15.0-16.1.2 you can sideload install a “tweak” (with your Apple Account using Sideloadly app on your computer) called Cowabunga that has the option to enable Dynamic Island on ANY device. It looks best with non-not he’d devices, obviously, and is partially obstructed by the notch, so it looks best on iPhone 8 and lower. It doesn’t play well on iPads because iPadOS is not programmed to use Dynamic Island quite yet.
