Oh, you mean the email exchanges between the FBI that are included in the newly released files. I didn’t look at it deeply enough yet. But I’m guessing even if they have/had some degree of security in their mailing system, since those emails are relevant to the case, they were required to be added to the dossier regardless at some point.

Your issue seems to be with statements from the Saudis that are included in the piece. They are not there for you to take them by their word, but to know what they have said on the matter. And it’s basic journalism that you contact affected parties where possible and relevant, to give them a chance of a statement.
