GayBros@lemmy.world•This community seems so much more supportive than the one on Reddit.
1·3 days agoSame. Joined Lemmy quite recently and looking around so far. The vibe here does seem more welcoming. It feels a bit like Reddit before algorithms took over. Happy to join fellow bros. I’m from Europe. 😊

GayBros@lemmy.world•How long should I know a person for before asking them out?
1·3 days agoI think, this is personal. You feel it yourself (or you don’t). Sometimes this moment comes naturally and sometimes you move on. Life is non-linear.
This probably depends country by country. Besides Grindr, there are local online portals for dating, discussions and hookups.
…a bit of a data breach… and we’re not moving a whisker about this. 🤭

Privacy@lemmy.ml•How can I avoid proprietary software on school & company computers?
22·5 days agoYeah, as tempting as it is to personalize the work / school computer, it’s probably better to not mix the two.

Technology@lemmy.world•If you value privacy, ditch Chrome and switch to Firefox nowEnglish
1·5 days agoI have been using Brave on both Linux and mobile for a while now. It seems to work fine as a backup browser for casual browsing. For more private browsing, I prefer Firefox forks.
Also, the recently Brave Origin (Nightly) was released. It’s the same Brave browser that now has own telemetry (crypto, Leo AI, etc.) removed. It’s free for Linux users and costs 59.99$ to buy for mobile and Win / Mac etc. users.

7·6 days agoThanks for the post. I’m new to Fedora and Linux and this will be my first switch to a new release. May I ask what is a good approach in this ragard? Will it be upgraded automatically or can I delay the process? Would appreciate some advice.
That would be awesome, honestly.
Thanks for sharing. How do you make them all green / colored in one color tone?

Thanks for the advice. I was curious about Kyokushin for a while now. It seems intrigueing and more effective than Shotokan.
Have you trained Kyokushin yourself? Would you say it still has a connection with philosophy and mental training like more traditional styles?
