That’s fun! I have an old Buick Enclave I was thinking about doing that with, but it turns out I can just stick a memory foam mattress in the back and leave it at that. I can still fit stuff underneath the captains chairs when they are folded down.
It even has a DVD player in the back, so I’m trying to come up with an alternative power situation so I can watch stuff without draining the main battery.

Thank you for this! It really put a lot of my thoughts into words along with some deeper insight. I think if we are going to push for a better society then we need to pay attention to people like you who are experts in the field and can really tease apart the pros and cons of things like this.
I see a bit of a panic in current anti-AI sentiment at the moment, and honestly rightfully so, as it is being weaponized against us. But to outright dismiss it or to try to put the genie back in the bottle could be shooting ourselves in the foot. If we can take control of it ourselves and push out the capitalists we could have something that is genuinely useful, and most importantly, ours.
I just had to wait for 3 weeks to get a refill on my daily asthma inhaler, one and a half of them without my meds. There was some sort of supply issue with my regular one, so had to get a new one prescribed. I had to deal with going back and forth with the pharmacy, doc office, and insurance company to finally get the approved brands/prior authorizations figured out. I’m glad my asthma isn’t too bad right now despite being allergy season.
I’m taking a wild guess here, but I’m guessing that folks in places with universal healthcare don’t have to deal with this sort of bullshit.
