Definitely understand the frustration, but I’m not sure we should be wishing war on anyone.

Not to mention I can’t imagine a war between the three largest nuclear powers going well for the world…

I ride a tern and they’re pretty amazing. I’d probably start with a quick haul but could swap to a GSD later down the line as the kids got older.

There was a press conference this afternoon where they basically said if the feds don’t let them have access to the agent, etc that they wouldn’t be able to build a strong enough case for trial.

Surely they know that’s not true though (even if they won’t admit it publicly). I just don’t see what the real human rational is. Cut money so you can give more tax breaks to the wealthy? Like how can someone be so callous. How do you justify that to yourself?

Wow so they can’t even at least posture that they would refuse to vote to keep the government open if they don’t agree to continue to the subsidies…

I don’t understand what the calculation was here. People were hurting, but a whole lot more people are going to hurt without health insurance come next year. They got:

• a vote on healthcare extension in December: almost certain to fail and even if succeeding, open enrollment ends 12/15. So you’d potentially be making people gamble thousands of dollars per month that this unlikely vote succeeds and effects them immediately
• written into the law that federal employees get back pay - which is already federal law
• reverses lay offs that occurred during the shut down - which were illegal
• it only funds the government through January. So we’re going to be right back in this situation. And then what - we tell these poor SNAP recipients, “oh sorry, we’re going to need you to go though this whole thing again because we wanted to make sure people could fly home for thanksgiving.”

Hard to imagine a moderate winning a national primary after this. And what the hell is the republican answer for why it was so important that people not get slightly more affordable healthcare that it was worth starving people.

I hope that at the least, the re-establishment of SNAP will be quick.

I guess my thought is that should wait until actually ordered to do commit violence. Coups are very, very damaging to democracies and often beget more coups. It should only really be a last resort if civil mechanisms completely fail.

I do understand the wish that someone could just easily removal him from power though. The man is unhinged.

I ended up going for the banjo brothers, waterproof pannier, in case anyone was curious. I really appreciate all of your recommendations, it really helps narrow the field down.

I ended up going for it because it was waterproof as well as relatively inexpensive ($65). There were some concerns on Amazon about it popping off the back, but so far I haven’t had any issues with this. You could probably fit a small briefcase in it, but it only fits mine when the top is open, which kind of defeats the purpose of the waterproofing, so I’ll probably need to downsize or just move stuff into the bag. It does pretty well for grocery store runs and I haven’t run into any issues with it. I’m balancing the bike or having heel strikes. Certainly not as nice as some of the others that people mentioned on here, but certainly a good starter bag.

How do the new spirits/mechanics compare to the previous expansions? I love spirit island so I’m so tempted to get this even though I probably don’t play it regularly enough to justify it

Wow! Thank you for this! I guess I’ll hold off based on your reviews. I feel like cyberpunk games/shows (and even sci-fi to a certain degree) can be so hard to find. I feel like fantasy is so much more popular even though I’d think it would be more equal.
