Yeah it feels to me that both are searching for a “aha gotcha” kind of online win so they can then turn to their respective followers and say “see? See how they are?”. Neither is productive and both are examples of a kind of micro-clout chasing behavior that reduces the very real discussions about very real politics to being “gotcha’s” etc.

@FinjaminPoach@lemmy.world @Track_Shovel@slrpnk.net It’s supposed to be good. Rationale goes that if you feed your troops well right before sending them into combat their morale will improve (and thus effectiveness). Normal meals in the us armed forces aren’t this luxurious.
