I’m new but I’ve always mentally gone straight to lemming from lemmy. also, I love all iterations of the game.

I only communicate with two people in signal. I still use it because I genuinely despise Android messenger.
“extremist” ≠ conservative. and I assumed that they were representing the study accurately. but likely It’s the reporting that’s biased.
I think I get it!
also what’s a tankie?
while I believe the headline, the science is biased.
100% this. I read the article about the fake request for service a couple of days before I switched to kbin. it was really incomprehensible to me that the supreme Court would even hear the case given the false allegations. it was just to set the precedent.
ok. I really like this place. but what IS the deal with “rule”. I kinda need to know.
that was my thought process as well. someone lives in a very dark place.
I grew up pretty poor. I got most tech when it went on sale or was discontinued. so, I got my Atari when I was 11, in 1985. when I went to college in 1991, I played a friend’s Sega and became obsessed with Sonic! by 1993, I was surrounded by computer nerds and had access to most consoles and just fell into PC gaming instead. Sam and Max. Day of the tentacle. Lemmings. Monkey Island. It wasn’t until I realized I could play all the sonic games on GameCube that I even wanted a console.
nowadays, I live in a household with all the consoles, but they’re not “mine” and I barely touch my PC.
it was my first (after my Atari 2600) , and honestly favorite, console. I still have the games but I no longer have the console.
at least it’s nonsense.
for YEARS I refused to use the site which should not be named because I hated the UI. RIF is literally the only reason I explored outside the group I joined for.
for me, it was community I was seeking, and honestly not finding on Reddit. this, for me, may be what I wanted Reddit to be all along. taking that into consideration makes this less a replacement and more of what was missing. what I did love about Reddit was answers. content. we will get to watch that blossom. it’s kinda exciting. also, I got my old username for the first time in 2 decades.
I’m just glad to be here. it fills the void while I’m waiting for that habit to die. and maybe I’ll make some friends or at least have civil conversations with people.
Of all the flaws Reddit hosted, Internet communities was definitely one.
right! I’m so glad I didn’t buy one preemptively. at least I’ll get the new one.
2019 … but yeah. Metroid is my favorite franchise of all time
maybe sooner than you think cuz Reddit is bots and scabs now.
I have been trying to find a way to replace the ice maker in my freezer with one. although I know the melty bit is part of the process. I use A LOT of ice and my current ice maker CANNOT keep up. my cheapy countertop one does though. what brand did you get?
