Cincinnati isn’t really rust belt, but it’s about the only corner of Ohio that isn’t.

I’m the 3:30am friend. I’m tired by 11 am, I’m 7hrs into my shift. If you invite me to dinner at 7:30 that’s a no. How about 4:30?
Distribution is the problem. Authoritarians left and right are the problem. I work for a nonprofit that feeds the poor and temporarily under resourced and the government is our biggest obstacle.
This is literally the future Jesus’ theoretical return presents but a lot of (not all) Christians aren’t on board.
They won’t accept large scale immigration.
That was a joke. Maybe end world hunger for a week.
Sounds like a nice build, what GPU do you have with it? I’m running an RTX 4070ti. People seemed mad at it when it released but I got mine $15 under MSRP on the day it released (plus tax exempt because it’s my main video editing PC for my nonprofit).
A couple years later I’m still loving it for 1440p 144fps gaming, I run most games on ultra. It seems a good match for the 5800x, sometimes I bottleneck on GPU, sometimes CPU but most of the time neither.
This is what I do with fat. With cooking oil, it’s only a tiny bit at a time, I don’t deep fry. I pour it out in the lawn.
Car supremecy is when there are no options but cars, and I live there.
I’ll take any of those, I’ve got none of them so far.
I’ve seen lots of poor criticism of Vance but your concise little comment actually hit the nail on the head.
I want healthcare too but it doesn’t have nearly as much support in the Dem representatives as it does from the voters. I have zero expectations. Mostly because of the legal bribery.
There have to be 100 better criticisms of Vance than this. I’m on the east side of Cincinnati and I often drive an hour to go hike trails in an area called the Edge of Appalachia. Real Appalachia is just a little farther.
He only said his family was from Appalachia, I have no idea when or not that’s true. But there are tons of self-described redneck/hillbilly types all around the outskirts of Cincinnati. I’m going to a Hardy show tomorrow (technically today) and although he crosses over into rock, his two opening acts are country and that show is going to be packed with people like I’m describing.
Vance absolutely grew up with money, I don’t know if he has misrepresented that. But lots of people around Cincinnati come from families that think of themselves as Appalachian. The dude is scary though, just talk about his politics and you’ll convince people.
I believe she could do it, but by the time she gets there it’ll be a $7.99 item.
With the way I expect to see inflation continue along its current path, I half expect them to argue that their prices are still the same as in year 2XXX prices, adjusted for inflation.
I was on Reddit for a decade until a year ago. I deleted my accounts and left, at the same time my wife who had lurked for years but never had an account, she made an account. Ugh.
The US countryside isn’t nearly as dangerous as the outskirts of US cities. That’s where I drive. I wish I could bike it. Too many memorial bicycles on the sides of the road.
Great response and I agree with you on both. People who showed up peacefully and broke no laws didn’t get arrested on Jan 6. But neither party is going to change the law to allow protests in our statehouses.
This is my experience as well. Tier 1 is awful, and it’s a terrible job too.
