I think that was the whole point, this is “the hidden cost of AI Art”. AI (or LLMs) might be able to compete (or supersede us) on the end-product level, but it can’t create “art”. If you don’t care about art, then the whole discussion doesn’t matter, but then it will cost us our growth as humans.

I loved the Devabad Trilogy. Though I think that was mainly because of the setting. Just found out that she wrote a short stories collection in the series during covid. In case you want to read more after finishing the series.

How are you liking Pride and Prejudice with Zombies? Added it to my wishlist when it was released, but never got around to getting it.

I didn’t have any issue with it, but I have heard this from many people.

I think all Cosmere secret projects should be read after Stormlight Archive, or at least once you know who that guy is.

I read Elantris a while back, loved the book, looking forward to sequel, whenever he gets around to it, but don’t recall reading The Emperor’s Soul. It’s in Arcanum Unbound though, so will read it before the Lost Metal.

Oh, there’s still a book left. 4 books in total in Era 2. Will let you know after I finish that, but it seems to be getting even better!

I have read most of the Cosmere novels, only Mistborn Era 2 (last book remaining now!), Stormlight Archive Novel 4 and 5 (didn’t read 4 on release and want to do a re-read before reading them now), and some novellas are remaining. Though I don’t think I have even heard of “Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell”, will look it up.

Out of curiousity what is your recommended order? I main started with Mistborn, then Stormlight Archive, and then went back to published order for most of the stuff.

That’s lots of stuff, but I guess this can be expected with Deathlands out of the picture 😀
