I’m not playing any soulslikes at the moment. Currently working on Tower Wizard

The cryptic lore style is fine in my opinion. I like that it isn’t shoved down your throat. If you want to dive into the item descriptions and what not, you can. I think it’s also great for cultivating a lore community, as can be seen by the hundreds of lore videos in my YouTube feed. It’s a community effort to decode what the story is actually about. It gives something to sink your teeth into after beating the games, rather than knowing everything and moving on because there’s nothing else to know.

3 is definitely red.

I did not grow up with those magnets, but some pictures associated with each letter of the alphabet in preschool, and I think it had a similar effect. Red Apple for A, means A is red now and forever.

It’s green. If you have colours associated with letters or numbers, there’s a good chance you have a form of synesthesia.

No soulslikes for me this weekend either. I’ve been playing Haste, as well as a lot of Dome Keeper which just released a DLC.

Sekiro is the one that didn’t click for me. It’s still installed and I plan to try and git gud and finish it one day, but I need to muster up a whole bunch of patience and motivation first.

I agree the OP’s pepper is not as orange as the one you posted. I find it interesting that you’d call it yellow.

Anyway, I hope you didn’t take my questioning as adversarial. Peppers are great no matter the colour.

I’ve got a DS3 run on the go that I might finish. Just need to beat the Ringed City bosses minus Demon Twins, and Old Demon King because I forgot about him.

I think the refilling Estus system is best overall. Farming for heals in Demon’s Souls kinda sucked imo, especially when I got stuck in a few places and burned through all my grass.

I did like the lifegems in DS2 and their contrast to Estus, especially how the gems healed less but let you still walk while snorting them, versus the Estus making you stand still but healing more overall.

My block list is around 100 users. Most are chronic NSFW posters polluting my All feed. The rest are either just annoying, spammers, or trolls.

Feels like I’m going against the grain of the other comments, but let me try to justify it. A lot of people are in bad relationships and are being treated poorly without realizing it. Letting someone know that something is a red flag might be the first step in them becoming aware that their partner is abusive. There’s no “mending” a narcissist.

That being said, a post will only ever give you a sliver of the whole story, which is why Internet relationship advice isn’t really reliable.

A few parts have been quite a bit more difficult than I was expecting, and I’m currently stuck again so will have to look up a guide for the next step. Besides a few instances of not knowing the intended path it’s been great so far.
