These adaptations were so good, really sad that Cooke passed before he could do more of them.

This looks interesting. One thing you could consider is colour coding the hanzi and pinyin, by tones, since the diacritics can be hard to see on a small phone screen. For example, the Pleco dictionary app uses red, green, blue, purple for tones 1,2,3,4. This also adds an additional cue for memorisation. A adjustable background colour for the word might also help readability.

There was a post on here a while ago about leftist Spanish language video creators etc
It’s not “news” I guess, but I did grab it. They were suggested by comrades here, so hopefully pretty good?

Where did you find this one? It looks similar to another Delorme from 1940, but slightly different. Could it be AI generated/modified? (Not in any accusatory tone, just interested to know. Your posts on here are amazing and keep this community running)

“gobbling down their dinner”

This is something I’ve been thinking about a lot recently too. Nobody knows exactly what’s coming, so it’s easy to get caught worrying, or cynical about what, if any, good things could possibly come next. The way I’ve been thinking for a few months is so similar to your idea - hardening the infrastructure, social or otherwise. Just felt striking to see someone else thinking of it the same way. Thanks

Just adding that I found this while digging around - they seem to have a few different podcasts. Haven’t listened yet but looks ok at first glance

Thanks, I’ll take a look!
Nice!
