2·il y a 1 anG.R.I.S is short and not replayable but it’s beatiful and deep from start to end. Cried a few times during the playthrough and felt relieved afterwards :)

4·il y a 1 anIs there any argument for region locking games? Doesn’t even need to be good.
I did kind of understand why they region locked dvd players back in the day (if we can make them pay twice why shouldn’t we, after all we are despicable morons who can only look a line that goes up). But for games, I can’t make sense of it.

4·il y a 1 anWe already have site blocking in France.
what happened to asking permission first?
Masculine energy I guess.
I completely agree, but I never do posts, I mostly lurk here.
I really want to see a Return to Castle Wolfenstein mod based on this iconography!

Programmer Humor@lemmy.ml•In case you've ever wondered why the Windows control panel was so awful...
16·il y a 1 anIs this real? It’s funny af, even if it’s not real, but does anyone know if it is?
I can also give you an army of Aquaman, how cool is that?
(don’t hurt me if I made an unholy crossover, I have no idea which heroes belong to which universe)

Technology@lemmy.world•RedNote may wall off “TikTok refugees” to prevent US influence on Chinese usersEnglish
892·il y a 1 anImo it’s more sad than hilarious. US users and Chinese users meeting each other on the platform and discovering they are interesting people who actually have a lot in common sounds like what I’d wish the internet to be.
It’s not surprising, and I get the irony, but I feel more sad than amused.

2·il y a 1 anI’ve been using Infomaniak for the past two years, and I’m mainly happy about it (drive and online docs editor have been working really well, idk about the webmail cause I use Thunderbird).

3·il y a 1 anIdk in the rest of Europe, but in France I’ve witnessed the contrary a lot of times. I do however not have a study on a big enough sample to make a claim, this is all anecdotal evidence on my side.

9·il y a 1 anNeither did I.
Totally, especially with OP’s title. How much longer do we need to repeat that consent can be withdrawn at any moment and than no one is owned anything regardless of their arousal state?
And I know it’s a meme, a joke, but come on, it’s 2025, there are lots of joke material that don’t involve hinting to justifying sexual assault.
Hello dear internet user,
It looks like you need to educate yourself on at least 3 topics before using your keyboard again:- why is it hurtful and not ok to rebutt other’s opinions by suggesting they are mentally ill?
- are other animals sentient, sociable and do they feel emotions and pain?
- how are meat and dairy products produced and how many animals live in this system?
Once you’ve done the work, we’ll be able to agree on the basics facts and exchange arguments on how we see the situation and the precise words we want to use.
Looking forward to engaging with you in good faith in the future,
Me.
