You can see the quality if you’re an experienced coder. My comment lacks personal context in that I was in school in 2010 and there were plenty of my classmates who would plug snippets into their projects without fundamentally understanding what it did or learning what the project was supposed to teach us. Similar to a shortcut with AI in 2025.

It’s like google-coding in 2010; nothing you search for is exactly what you need, but it could help you see why your code isn’t working.

I am interested in how they expect to deal with ALL of the Treaty and unceded Indigenous lands. I’m not Indigenous but from what I’ve heard and read from many Indigenous people in the area of Alberta, they are not likely to want to go with Alberta.

There’s also all of the federal land in Alberta (military bases, natl parks, etc.) I agree with the other comments on how dumb of a move this would be for them. Did they learn nothing from Brexit? Do they KNOW about Brexit?!

I’m in Victoria, BC and I’ll vote NDP for you, you vote Liberal if it’s a contest bt Lib and Con MPs. Even if Lib and NDP MPs split votes here, our riding won’t go conservative.

NPR, the source that floofloof linked above, is a pretty solid news source. The article linked discusses the mega-prison in El Salvador.
