  • Indeed, that was Epstein’s whole thing, he kidded a lot of people. He liked to kid around with politicians, royals, billionaires, executives. All the Ivy league swells.

And boy did those swells love to be kidded. Mandleson of the labour party in the UK just a couple of years back was unapologetic about his undying love for Epstein when asked about his sincere concern and well wishes to Epstein just in the last number of years, and he told reporters if they didn’t like it they could “go fuck themselves.”

But that’s not a one off, the people partying with him really liked him, not just for shielding their assets with tax avoidance, which was epstein’s official thing. They all kidded around together and had a grand time. Not a single one has faced a real consequence yet either.

  • Legal advocacy for Israel is likely very dark stuff, to name a few possibilities here, the new anti protest laws states passed around 2018 deserve mention along with their campaigns to turn the opposition to big money and Israel into domestic terrorists. They have laws on the tamer end that cancel the bill of rights and make it against the law to support the boycott movement. Some just for state contracts, but some go farther, either way it’s punishing 1st amendment protected activity.

The advocacy can be connected to their pursuit of critics under accusations of supporting terrorism and financing, and advocacy can be pressuring prosecutors, politicians, judges, the media, etc. to take the position that there is a terror angle. At which point they could take all of their assets, arrest everyone tangentially involved, seize those tangential peoples’ assets, get them all fired, could file rico to boot, private or public and expand it out further with a friendly judge.[

There are also new laws from around 2018 that illegalize protest. These were orchestrated by fossil fuel companies in response to oil project protests and the like mostly. A lot of the more shitholier states passed them. Some, I think AZ might be one, it was reported in the Intercept I could find it, make organizers responsible for anything and everything that happens at a protest. There was a lot more to them than that. Impeding critical infrastructure is like a serious felony if not domestic terrorism with it. Chaining yourself to an oil pipeline under construction could see you in prison for life with all of your assets stolen and those of everyone you have any connection to basically. Being told to leave an area and not doing it immediately, or being accused of not doing it, is a serious felony if not terror. They are a further repudiation of the 1st amendment.

So an Israel protest they could have their own guy punch someone, the organizers could be charged, and face ruinous 100k fines and the like if I recall. It is just built for agents of the groups being accused to create and incident and destroy the organizers, and others involved in the protest. Or blocking a road, crossing the street could get you accused of blocking it and you are a terrorist or at the least a person facing 30 years in prison or whatever and hundreds of thousands in fines.

I am not sure if the greenpeace rico kangaroo court ruling used these new laws in north dakota, but that is sort of how it will play out. Basically going forward you can’t have any established group sponsor or even endorse a protest.

Even if the charges don’t stick it’s ruinous to be charged and they know that, and the Israeli superfans are as vicious and capricious as they come, pleasuring in their impunity as the chosen people (of the US Government,) that are above law and given absolute power over American politics. A notion only we dispute.

https://theintercept.com/2019/08/19/oil-lobby-pipeline-protests/ Same issue different article than I read, search engines don’t try to find what you ask anymore they give you one close, maybe, from the publication you are asking. Problem started for me in 2021 before that it worked I could find any article with knowledge from memory.

  • Indeed, and the word doesn’t fit anyway. Arabs are a semetic peoples. Bigotry takes many forms, but idk if hating a country’s actions would fit into any of them in an honest definition. It’s not xenophobia to oppose the actions of a government, I don’t know what type of bigotry would even be close.

Because opposing official actions of a country, is not bigotry. Opposing the actions of a people, is not bigotry under any reasonable definition unless you are opposing it because of whom they are.

  • You can’t say Epstein didn’t do those things. Prosecutors saying those things covering for themselves is the least reliable source in the world. As if there was nothing they could do even if they knew, which how could they know?

All bullshit. They knew, or should’ve known. Acosta knew, bailed him out of state charges by getting them to defer to the feds then giving him a sweetheart deal. The only information they looked at was the stuff they couldn’t ignore because the Miami Herald.

The only reason any of this stopped was because the Miami Herald’s dogged reporting and the brave victims that brought this all to light. Prosecutors deserve less than zero credit, they covered for these politically connected rapists every step of the way.

  • It’s like that saying about owing the bank money, if it’s small amounts, you have a problem, if tens of billions, it’s the bank’s problem.

So it goes for being an Israeli honeypot entrapping politicians and swells into raping children and other perversions (and tax evasion,) on camera. You catch one of them doing it is your problem if caught. If you catch a critical mass of them doing it, on camera, it’s their problem.

  • It takes a lot of courage to buck the party right now. He probably would make a good leader, the stances of the leader on issues really aren’t important right now either, getting concrete concessions is. Extracting information from oversight is. Producing political messaging, from press releases to questioning administration/government officials, to digging up dirt on perversions of the administration. ie exporting government data to private data banks owned by thiel’s faction from doge contrary to law.

We need a leader that can help the party members do these things. Their own politics aside they need to want to fight, maybe that’s schumer’s problem, he doesn’t want to upset the baileys, the fictional family he cites as real to justify playing to the right despite the baileys seemingly hating him and voting republican.

I say give massey a chance if no one else will throw their hat in the ring. I’d give it to Marjorie if she was still in the game, she at least had the backbone to stand up.

  • Yeah I read a bit about some of them, wish I still had the book The Reformation by William and Ariel Durant. I recall the anabaptists that often would have a little revolution in their town, establish like a communist type state with it’s own government and church, they might lock the old leaders in one of those big like bird cage and put them up top over the gates to the city, pretty crazy stuff. The authorities obviously would come through and re-establish “order” after a bit. That was in the 16th century or so.

But it got bloody in the 30 years war in the late 1600s, drawing in almost all the powers of europe at one point or another. All for religion. Central Europe was particularly devastated.

  • Idk I had previously read 25% of primary voters were said to be evangelical, 35 is even worse. The president had about 30% of the electorate in thrall in 2016 that pulled him through the primary. It is high in any case. They have a lot of kids and they rarely defect and seemingly nothing could turn them towards the common good given their rapture bullshit.

I believe every speaker of the house from 2007 to 2022 was catholic. 6 of the scotus judges. They have their own schools, so they have a large number of people groomed to follow the leader to choose from, places like the federalist society further refine them from law school. Now turning point is getting in on the action more generally grooming, and policing, all schools they get in as a hitler youth type organization, for every student and teacher but that’s another story. A story in which Kirk rejected that vision for his own, and the board p®icks of the that faction.

Being appointed judge, or chosen for rep, senate, is a lot about being a known quantity. They donors and party leaders generally want someone that is not going to come down with a case of morals. No do gooderism. They are deathly afraid of their appointees for the bench coming down with chronic Patriotism, the entire reason the federalist society was made was because traditionally it didn’t matter the party that nominated the judge, after they got in there they sided with the country’s interest as they saw fit, to the chagrin of the Republicans. Republican nominees I think ended up being the most progressive justices throughout the 70’s and before.

So they are more than token representation, and dominate a lot of posts for whatever reasons, their large pool of groomed partisans probably being one such reason.

  • This is the victim blaming the controlled opposition uses to keep control. The only way forward is without them leading. Do not listen to the ones that failed about whom is at fault. It is like allowing Netanyahu to coordinate the response to the attack that happened on his watch, because he failed, as the law and order and safety candidate at that.

Now because of his failure he gets everything he wants, never admits a mistake while starting 7 wars? It just gets worse the longer you let these manipulators stay in their positions. When there is a failure, an honest accounting must be had, those responsible need to own up to their mistakes, pledge how they will improve, then go forward.

When those in power scapegoat others for their failures, they have to be replaced as they aren’t trying to accomplish the thing they are lying about but other ends, just like netanyahu. Just like the establishment democrats too. They are preventing popular reform not winning elections. Keeping control of the party for the donors is what they care about.

  • Oh Jesus Christ that’s right I recall reading something about that seven mountains last year. They aren’t far off from that either. The return of angry jesus, not that woke new testament jesus, angry jesus promises to drown the world in lake so of blood and fire. That’s not hyperbole either that’s like verbatim these guys are fucking nuts.

Are baptists evangelicals? I think they are technically different but functionally kind of the same, or can be. They are 25% of the republican base in any case. That is why the president can seemingly do little wrong. They appreciate the degeneration to bring on said rapture and end of the world, which somehow is something they want to happen.

Me personally I oppose drowning the world in blood and fire.

  • Problem is the republicans covertly help the less electable unpopular democrats to win. There aren’t that many dem sheep, but with all of the media, the influence operations of both dems and republicans and their allies, the super delegates, etc, the establishment ones seem like the safe choice, seem like the inevitable choice. If they cross the nominee they would be frozen out later they fear it seems, (never worse than in 2024 nobody challening kamala,) and people like the South Carolina black faith leaders still believe these establishment guys are the safe and inevitable choice.

Nothing has changed. It doesn’t matter how many times they fail, how wrong they are, they will never learn, as long as those with money tell them confidently, and trash those that disagree, they will never support popular reform.

We need our own organization, and to sign up and organize new voters to overcome the existing sheep and faith leaders like that black south carolina fella that handed it to Biden, (thanks dickhead, admit you were wrong already,) because we will never win those people over with reason.
