This is an oldie but a goodie: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream.

Oil cleansing is the best. The older I get, the more I appreciate it, especially in a dry climate.
Definitely in the right direction - if shea butter doesn’t make you break out or make you skin oily, then it’s great! It’s non-comedogenic or mildly comedogenic for most people. And you can buy it in bulk (I used Etsy before but I am sure there are better places).
If you want to be super moisturized, use something with hyaluronic acid in it on damp skin, let it absorb, the put a bit of shea butter on it. You are basically returning moisture to your skin with a humectant then sealing it with an occlusive.
I would recommend trying a plant-based oil like rosehip instead of baby oil, which is mineral oil made from petroleum. Might be better for breakouts.
Get a lotion with hyaluronic acid and put it on damp hands. Done.
I think a lot of people misunderstand hypnosis. It’s just putting your brain in a relaxed state (theta waves) that you normally experience when you sleep and dream. If you experience that state when you are asleep, you can also experience it awake. It’s just a matter of finding the right relaxation technique.
One thing I didn’t mention in my comment is that for people who struggle to visualize, we just do a progressive muscle relaxation induction rather than a visualization. No need to imagine anything.
I’m a therapist and also trained in hypnotherapy. It is possible or but harder IMO. I just tell people to “pretend” instead of “visualize.”
“Pretend you are standing at the top of a staircase” is something most people can do even if they don’t get a visual. It’s “a felt sense.”
You can do this test: if you pretend or imagine to bite into a lemon, do you start to salivate a bit even if you can’t see it in your mind’s eye? If yes, you can be hypnotized. If no, doesn’t mean you can’t, but it means there will be extra work.
“Vibes of an Apple” are fine. You don’t need to see it, just to have a felt sense of it for the most part. Of course, everyone is different, and I cannot say this would work for everyone.

5·9 hours agoMy husband did once after biting into a spoiled tuna sandwich despite my warnings in order to prove his stomach was strong.
He is normally a very smart man, but not that day.
I have a dachshund and can confirm that the feet are accurate. At least that’s what they feel like under the covers at night.

I am sorry for your loss, they look like wonderful boys.
Obligatory Rainbow Bridge if you haven’t heard it:
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…
Oh man, it’s not playing right in Voyager. I’ll check on desktop.

I can see it.
