I’d start with law professors and/or students. BigLaw is pissing a lot of people off and 50501 is in the spotlight, so you may be able to hook a shark. But the country is very busy right now, so maybe even try some retired lawyers, judges? trump has done a good job spreading the judicial branch thin, so I’m sure you’ll need to get creative.

Try reaching out with cold emails. As a journalist, a big part of my job was blindly reaching out to sources. Professors and lawyers are used to people reaching out and will usually get back quickly. There are a million articles about effective cold email campaigns if you need extra help. But this is about as elaborate as you need to get:
