The first thing that comes to mind is setting up scholarships/bursaries for underprivileged school/college kids. Your local school district or community college or University will be happy to help set that up for you.

Aside from that, it could potentially be challenging to do direct cash transfers without setting up some level of bureaucracy to help with the vetting/qualification of deserving individuals

I believe Monocles should work just as well with JMP, though I’ve never tried it personally.

The SIP phone will work, but I’m uncertain about SRTP. You can reach out to JMP support to ask about this, but in my experience sometimes they can be less than helpful for issues that are very specific and/or rare.

Would be nice if the federal government could start to provide funding for such projects on a large scale (like only a federal government can), without worrying about the political ramifications of homeowners upset about stagnant (or depreciating) property prices.
