You know, now that I think of it, Mirrors Edge Catalyst kinda scratched that Oni itch a while back. Another underrated game that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Still waiting for Oni 2

Oni was fun, but did not age well. By the time I finished the game I had enough combat moves to make it feel interesting, then the game ended.

TL;DR? You don’t need it. Your eyes are already healthy.

My experience.

It was all a sales pitch. Price was per eye, so unexpectedly double the bill. HSA helped, or maybe burned a hole in my pocket, not sure which. The major worry was post surgery, lots of things that could go wrong, but didn’t. The flap never heals, just the edge. Got comfortable using eye drops for 6 (Yes SIX) months. Didn’t go anywhere without an eye drop packet, felt like an addict. Even when I slept.

My vision is corrected. But I still use glasses to drive. I was kinda pissed I didn’t have perfect vision, but 10 years later and I still don’t need reading glasses. I do need to take off my driving glasses to see my phone.

All in all a net positive but I don’t actually recommend it, so much can go wrong.

It’s a request to have a new role. It’s not a bug report. It’s not about some Intent that can’t be used.

I request to be able to replace the sharing UX, as the one of Android lacks various features that I want, and even though I’ve requested them for a long time, it even got worse.

I prefer to have a third party app that is made to be customizable than what Android has to offer built in. "

True. But our bones do some of the calculations as well. We’re born with kinematics. Contrast with a video game that needs to do a lot of IK math to simulate bones.

And our neurons are doing a lot of calculations … just a different way.

But yeah, nobody is doing that Sherlock Holmes fight club stuff in their heads.

It’s a drop dead gorgeous game. Don’t worry about doing anything the wrong way or min-maxing. Just vibe.

Lots of sane people arguing against planned obsolescence. Worthy of a signal boost.
