Well perhaps if they sold usable EVs, instead of an overpriced truck and an overpriced SUV/sports car hybrid they might have better sales. Otherwise it’s just pissing in your lemonade and then complaining that no one comes to your stand.

I don’t know what your perspective on fair trials is, but a single judge rushing into the chambers, asking the felon 2 questions and immediately declaring the sentence. No attorneys, no hearing. That’s some North Korean shit.
It was pretty obvious from the first 5 minutes that this was not a short trial, and that what we see is not the full trial but the final veredict hearing. There’s even mention of the captain vying to lower the mother’s sentence.

Shrimp platters.
The thumbnail looks like a beaver if you squint. So of course my brain went “wow, that beaver has internet in his lodge?”

Because the Sun is a giant fusion reactor.

I don’t believe that. On electric vehicles, 90% of the energy is used to move the thing. A charged EV battery can power a standard household worth of appliances for two days.
Furthermore, the energy expenditure to dehydrate the concentrate is a one-time b cost, whereas transportation cost increases with distance.
What I DO believe is that manufacturers see transportation as less of a cost, because they offload it to distribution networks.
In the middle of a critical battle, Q materializes on the bridge:
I just wanted to wish you all good luck. We’re all counting on you.

The better message instead of “it doesn’t matter what instance you pick” should be “your choice of instance is not permanent.” With any product choice, the rule of thumb is that most consumers will switch products only when they perceive a 10x improvement. It is clear from many similar threads that the sign-up process is a barrier to such perception, because of the cognitive load of having to choose. To me, there’s two ways to address this: offering fewer choices, or reducing the perceived cost of a choice. In particular, streamlining account out settings migration (eg via export/import tools) may make arbitrary server choices more appealing, as it then becomes easier to pack up and switch.

Mastodon is working on addressing this on their side, by trying to recommend instances geographically close to the user. Perhaps a similar process could be used here?

It also needs to distinguish between Canadian ownership and US ownership. Even if made in Canada with Canadian ingredients, if the profits end up leaving the local economy then it’s barely any better than foreign made.

To paraphrase one of the comments I saw about the video: He starts talking about solar, ends up going nuclear. 100% worth watching.

In my (non expert) opinion, the chain should be shorter than the distance of the handle to the end of the stick. Otherwise you risk pulping your knuckles with a stray flail head.
One thing you should know is that the launcher is effectively maintained by a single person, and new versions have historically required updates to the launcher before working. This means that you usually have to wait a couple of days or weeks before being able to play the latest version. This is not a problem when playing with others also using the launcher, but it does become grating when it comes to cross play with mobile or Windows platforms.

Gotta get him in a room with Oozo the Clown from Day of the Tentacle.

So Roe v Wade gets reinstated, because the ruling that said older (and thus outdated) laws take precedence was incorrect, right? Right?

At some point I’d have thought so too, but after Rebel Moon I’m convinced that just large scale space battles is not enough.

Yeah, it’s more like a sparkling expert system.

That one is not LTS, you’ll want to update to 26.04 sooner rather than later.
“All of the ensigns?”
“No, just Kim.”
