31 minutes agoJobs was just as sociopathic as Musk. You have to be to lead any corporation that relies on profit and is public. People that worked closely with Jobs often said he was an arehle and didn’t care about people’s feelings.

Old guy but told I’m cool IRL. I’ve been a Liberal most of my life. However, recent political events have disturbed me so much, that I realized only conservatives have a reasonable plan politically. Gender and Identity politics are the fuel that convinced me that Liberals are becoming totalitarian.

1·36 minutes agoI have my media files in specific folders on a RAID5. It won’t take that as a valid path, nor even anything in the ~/ directory. If I use the server root, it will. I don’t like that - seems like a poor system design. No way I want it to scan my root directory. Christ it will take forever to scan my entire RAID of 200Tb.

OK I’ve installed Jellyfin server. However when setting up my media directories via the web front end, Jellyfin keeps telling me they’re not valid paths. Don’t know why that would be as they’re directly on the server and valid. Checked permissions too, and restarted the server. Any ideas? I haven’t rebooted the server, that’s shouldn’t be required.
That would be cool, especially California, then we’d have somewhere warm to visit. LOL
In terms of the metric system, just tell Americans that they’re still using the occupier’s system (British redcoats). 😉
My opinion is that Trump negotiates this way - Ask for something outlandish and breathe a sigh of relief when he settles for something less. Gets press — but you’re right about power. However the news being the way it is on a continuous cycle, content is needed. He understands that.
