I think it’s sound. Ban really low quality news (daily mail), state sponsered propaganda outlets, and far right trash. The list is relatively short.

The list is pretty short. And mostly includes:

1. State sponsered propaganda outlets: Russia Today, Global Times etc
2. Very Low quality news that might aswell just go find the same story with a better source: Daily Mail, The Sun
3. Far Right Super Biased News: OANN, Breibart, National Enquirer etc

After all these markets have hundreds of millions poured into them, and people are trying to win not loose. Obviously there are still problems with them, and that headline really should have included “according to bookmakers”.

I mean a lot of the time Biden’s sentence’s were incoherent. Reminding me of the Trump shark type blabbering. Disappointing. Although it seems he was ill.

I don’t know the specific problem with that pollster but the general message of the headline still stands IMO.

Trump’s debate performance was awful, but so was Biden’s, and somehow because this country is weird as hell Biden is held to a much higher standard than Trump while also being immensely unpopular.

I got blasted in a c/world thread because I used it to show a source that was untrustworthy. And ppl were saying its the factcheckerbias tool is unreliable cuz it rates the NYT as “factual”. I was suprised to get so much pushback.

yep. They are by no means perfect, but their competition rates AP and Reuters as left leaning lol, so they are the best we’ve got that I know of.

Disgusting. Still would vote labour over the tories, but as a disabled person who can’t work due to illness, I feel every major party just wants me to choose assisted suicide and “stop stealing hardworking people’s money”.

Republicans are doing everything possible to deny long covid is a thing. They are pushing the NIH to only fund research trying to (wrongly) make it seem like a mental disorder.

Not to mention, for disabled people like me with specific illnesses including long covid, this basically means we can’t leave our homes without severe risk to our health. In essence, another ableist tactic to hide disability.
