Here it is. As I hinted above, conventional continent boundaries are cultural, not scientific. Have a look: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continent#Number

I try to contribute to things getting better, with humor, sourced information, OC and polite rational skepticism.
Disagreeing with a point ≠ supporting the opposite side, I support rationality.
Let’s discuss to make things better sustainably.
Always happy to question our beliefs.

Same, but you forgot, the massive stealing of intellectual property that no government fights against because they are scared to be left behind by big tech, the impact on learning (especially students), and the impact on little hands that had to moderate the NSFL content.
You forgot to specify Italian DOP cheese, now you have a pizza oozing with shitty Kraft/Lactalis pseudo-cheese.

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•The saddest thing about Persona 5 is that it's still relevant 10 years later (Spoilers)
2·1 day agoBecause the cognitive biases that probably appeared hundreds of thousands of years ago to help our ancestors survive at the time are not going away anytime soon. All kind of shitty leaders learned to exploit those more or less consciously. Self-reflection on personal bias requires a level of education that seems hard to reach for the average population even in developed countries.

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•What great survival horror games have I missed in the last decade or so?
12·2 days agoOutlast 2013 has no combat but it’s horrific all right. I enjoyed discovering the scenario progressively although it probably has some frustratingly dated mechanics (why closing doors sound so fucking loud damnit?!).
There are two more recent Outlast games I have not yet played.

You’re going to confuse Americans who are taught America is two different continents: North and South (difference with the Latin culture).

When holes are closed enough that water cannot go through, I think it is valid interpretation of having an inside.
The notable difference with jam would be that avocado is already oily.

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•Before satnav we'd need to use an A-Z, we would learn the route and eventually not need the A-Z. With satnav I can drive to the same place 5 times and I don't know the route. This is AI today.
3·3 days agoI think there’s quite a big difference between operating the car yourself based on GPS instructions and letting an LLM write your code, if that’s what you mean. The equivalent would be asking the model only what to do, and then coding yourself based on its instructions.
Are all the spoons dirty or something?
Also, are they eating avocado with butter?
I checked it up and couldn’t find any reference, it seems op is completely fabricated and not straight. The only interesting method that was temporarily effective was the introduction of specialized viruses, until they became more resistant. https://www.nma.gov.au/defining-moments/resources/rabbits-introduced
Is the first part ironic and the second not ironic? It’s not clear.

You’re are over interpreting a lot. I was simply expecting some American to come on and say America is two continents because that’s what you are taught, just as Latin culture people are taught it’s one continent. I saw this play before. I’m not saying one is better than the other. By the way, it’s not a Europe thing, UK people are told the same as North Americans, it’s probably its origin. You could try asking for explanations before jumping to the agressive interpretation.
