networking@sh.itjust.works•Reliably updated CIDR range lists for mobile networks?
2·5 days agoTo the best of my knowledge there’s not a publicly available list for most of the providers, but I’m also not sure why you would even want/need one? Like, what’s the threat you’re trying to mitigate by allow/blocklisting arbitrary mobile network vendors?
IT’S PIKACHU!!! PIKACHU!!!

Technology@lemmy.world•Taylor Swift files to trademark her voice and likeness in era of AI deepfakes
8·9 days agoYes, but my understanding is that the bar to clear for a successful suit is a lot lower for trademark violation vs ‘unauthorized use of likeness’ or similar.
I generally agree with you , but if anything I think my admin is too permissive and continues to federate with instances who really should have gotten the boot ages ago. So long as that state remains true I’m happy to continue staying where I’m at.
The nature of federation is such that it’s going to naturally cause people to congregate along ideological lines, and as long as the threshold for migration is as high/low as it is (impossible to migrate an account, but trivial to abandon one and make a new one), my only ‘requirements’ are ‘dont cross the pain threshold, I don’t want to do more work to shitpost on the internet’.
Likely defederated from your instance. It is from mine.
