That’s an opinion piece that literally says “does it work? Probably not” with nothing else to back the statement.
We have to start somewhere. Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good enough. It starts with one day, then we try 2 or more. We can start with one day and the momentum can build and people can keep going.
Just addressing one part of this.
Veggies aren’t a primary source of calories, when trying to reduce calorie intake and eating healthy. Veggies are there for other important reasons. You focus on beans, lentils, and other legums for calories. Meat doesn’t even come close to their value. Rice, while having it’s own problems, is also more calories per dollar by far.

What’s the opposite of “not all heros wear capes”? Cus that’s what you are.
You’re like the villain no one deserved or something.

He needs to be dropped into a deep well and forgotten.
I personally can’t be sure, longest I’ve ever worn them on clinicals was 12 hours. I didn’t really feel they were that comfy that long. I did more EMT work and that required a different shoe. I had 24 hour shifts there. So I just used cute leather boots and they stayed outside my house cus they got gross. I felt more comfy and support in proper footwear personally. Kind of the same when in the military and deployed.
But everyone is different.
Medical people are wearing them to avoid ruining shoes with body fluids, not for sweat or breathability.
Hospitals are gross.
Source: have medicaled before.

Sick. Thanks. I’ll do the same.

How does transferring work?
I only have 2 or 3 things in lutris.
Pretty sure those are just cucinelli. Not that expensive in the grand scheme of quality clothing. Ridiculous for the average person unless you care that much about having high quality clothes, but only about $300.
Though there are better values for quality out there like maybe kiton or LP. None of these are the style to be like brand forward. More meant to be staple low mental effort stuff then statement pieces.
Not necessarily true. Some of the most expensive brands are all about showing the brand off as a sign of wealth and exclusivity. See: LV, chanel, Gucci as obvious examples, Ferrari, Tag, Hermes, Dior, so on as less obvious but still very brand forward.
Companies love using people as walking ads. You even pay them to do it instead of the other way around. It’s genius but sad.
Fair enough. I could go either way.
I think FotU is going for that mecha derived look that is quite popular. Which borrowed for military aircraft. Lots of writing, warnings, symbols and so on.
Stuff like this:
Which is just a decal sheet for generic sci-fi.
Throwing their name in there is just a small step. You even kind of see that on the car side of things with brand logos everywhere.
I wish it wasn’t brands though cus I don’t wanna be a billboard…
Putting your name, brand, logo all over everything is kind of normal in fashion tho. Heck not just fashion.
My main issue is their price to quality ratio.
Books are like the novels. Story books.
Codices are rule books. Each faction gets one and through our the years they all contained fluff and lore. Some stuff you only ever get in a codex. Some stuff you only ever see in a novel. There is probably some cabin content that is exclusive to every single form the universe has appeared in.
I wouldn’t say complicated. Just vast. It’s a growing universe that’s been around for like 40 years. B there is a lot of there and you don’t need to consult all of it. Play someone like Dawn of War series them pick the factions you like and just slowly absorb.
I always felt like 40k was an absorption type thing. You take in a little bit here and there and when you hear someone insane dog into it.
You get the most from reading books honestly. The truly out there stuff that always gets people interested is usually in novels or in the game books for either the ttrpg stuff or tt war games.
The games are getting better, especially if you avoid the endless space marine focused games, but even there, we have some pretty decent games. Space Marine is great. Dawn of War is awesome. Dawn of War will give you a big of every factions flavors, at least enough to get an overview and let you pick who interests you. Maybe start there? Or…
You get the most interesting lore when looking at it from a human perspective I think. Some good lore and closer look can be had with Owlcat’s Rogue Trader. I believe they are working on an Inquisitor game too.
Otherwise, you pick a faction you like and you start digging into the books and codices. I can get you book recs too if you want.

I agree with all of this expect FAM. I wanted to love this show. the sci-fi was fun and could get creative and cool but every time they gripped you with a cool idea they gave you 10min of it, left you wanting more then moved on to drama for drama sake for 45min.
I tried for 2 seasons and I think the first episode of 3 and gave up. :(
This just further confirms that the world simulation actually did break from the y2k bug. We fixed the bug in here, but no one fixed the simulation. The cascade failure has just been spreading out of control since then. Now we have recursion errors! The sim tried to restart but it’s all corrupt lol.
I wish I could enjoy this game like so many others do.
I’ve tried it over and over and just bounce off every time.
I played alone, with friends, with my partner, on stream… Nothing. I just can’t get into it.
I get so excited by everyone else’s passion for it and the Creator passion too. I live vicariously for this one lol.
This for sure. Referencing Kenny G was a daily occurrence.
