I don’t know. Reading the wiki on NPD, it feels like megalomania is an extreme version of the grandiose subtype of NPD. Maybe with some flavour of sociopathy added.
IANAPsychologist, so… /shrug

I’ve been told by my Thai friends that many of their food have variants that exclude fish sauce. This is mainly done for the benefit of the vegan Buddhists; a not-insignificant proportion of their population. But that would write off oyster sauce as well, which didn’t explain your observations (or maybe the unusual flavour you’re tasting is faux fish sauce)
But to make Pad Thai with very little or, god forbid, without tamarind - that’s definitely illegal!

narcissistic, megalomaniacal
That actually got me thinking. Are all megalomaniacs also narcissistic?
I shouldn’t be laughing this hard at a joke this stupid…
Now imagining waking the whole neighbourhood up every morning (and sometimes in the dead middle of the night)

That was before everyone and their dogs has their own streaming services. “In this economy,” implies now with 20 different services out there. I’m still not paying anything. Hence the hundreds.

That was actually the straw that broke my back. Cancelled every subscription I had and went back to sailing.
So I guess in a way I should thank them on helping me save hundreds of dollars a year in this economy.
Still doesn’t fill the void left by the SCD cancellation…
Personally I felt Pyre was a little meh. But even their weakest game is still a hell of a lot better than many AAA.
And Darren Korb is one hell of a composer.

“Tiger warns against law banning eating people”.

Unironically a great indie game
Looks more like a panTerabyte

Maybe if we count the number of dead children because of the aid cuts he made a while ago…
We’ve been writing slop long before the slopmachines were a thing. Where do people think corpospeak came from?

This isn’t even news. They’ve been doing this for… well… ever.

Yes, but at least soon he’ll have another GTA to discuss with you!

‘Focus Features’ is the indie distributor responsible for the movie. They are ‘mounting’ a campaign to get the movie nominated in every possible category (‘full awards push’)
Containers plus Sidebery is how I managed to convince some people to move to Firefox. Cookie isolation across tab groups is the best thing ever.
They mentioned “scheduled” and “emergency” in the same sentence. Their doublespeak game is strong.

It has to if you want federated servers. You spin up a server, it needs to know everything it subscribes to.
There is no solution, because it is not a problem. That’s just the nature of a federated system.
If I walk in the park, I risk people taking pictures of me. That’s the thing about parks, they’re public open spaces. The only solution is to stay home.
The more you move through the networking stack, the more you start seeing OB1 error potentials.
Many protocols have packet ids starting from (and wrapping back to) 1. Modbus registers start from 1, but stored in memory offset 0.
Packet lengths can either include or exclude the length itself. E.g. packet length 200 in a protocol could either mean the length is followed by 200 bytes of data; or 1 byte containing the length + 199 data; or even 4 bytes length + 196 data (off by four!)
It’s a wild world out there.
