I think it’s either this or a reenactment. I’m horrible at spotting AI, but the kitchen layout looks a little too consistant between the two pics to be completely AI. The only problem is the “second dishwasher.” I’m not sure that’s what it is, though. it looks too narrow. It could be a refrigerated drawer or wine fridge, or maybe one of those big drawers that holds a garbage can. Or maybe it’s AI! 🤷♀️

Cooking @lemmy.world•Where do you go to find your recipes?English
1·10 months agoThirding / Fourthing Budget Bytes. Also, I love Fattributes. I’m pretty sure it’s someone’s personal recipe dumping ground, but there’s usually something new every couple of days and they tag EVERYTHING so it’s easy to search. I’ve found a lot of blogs there that I might not have known about otherwise. Also, they’re very much against AI-generated slop!

4·1 year agoI was thinking the same thing at first but it might be water or sun damage to the photo. The weird blotches run onto his pants and her coat.

2·1 year agoWeird Fact: This is the film that inspired Octavia Butler to become a writer!
As I was watching this film, I had a series of revelations. The first was that “Geez, I can write a better story than that.” And then I thought, “Gee, anybody can write a better story than that.” And my third thought was the clincher: “Somebody got paid for writing that awful story.” So I was off and writing, and a year later I was busy submitting terrible pieces of fiction to innocent magazines.
The movie’s on Tubi and Pluto (Rifftrax version) if anyone wants to see it.

5·1 year agoI assume the dog only wore a mask when everyone else was - i.e. when they might get gassed or exposed to something else toxic?

Fediverse@lemmy.world•The Wikipedia page for the fediverse describes a den of iniquityEnglish
2·1 year agoThat sounds like a good idea! I thought this was just someone with a grudge until you started talking about the other articles they’d edited. I can’t say for sure if they’re all bad faith edits, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were others besides what they added to the Fediverse article.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•The Wikipedia page for the fediverse describes a den of iniquityEnglish
5·1 year agoYeah, this needs to be brought to someone’s attention. It’s not just someone adding their personal opinion to the Fediverse article, but they’re also messing up a bunch of other articles, too. I’d almost call it vandalism. OP, maybe you could get together with some other editors and bring it up to an administrator / mods?

3·1 year agoIf there’s anyone here who’s never listened to Gizz and has no idea where to start, there’s tons of “beginner’s guides” out there. Here’s a good one though it hasn’t been updated since they pulled their music from Spotify: https://www.getintogizz.com/ There’s also lots of concerts on Youtube. All of the KEXP sessions are great!

2·1 year agoInfest the Rat’s Nest and Chunky Shrapnel are “name your price” now, too! They were still full price for a while - I think it had something to do with those albums being released through ATO.
singingflame42@piefed.socialtoPeertube@lemmy.ml•Will there ever be a PeerTube TV app (official or third-party)?English
2·1 year agoI’m not sure about Roku. I brought up the Fire Stick because that’s what I have, and you were asking about other streaming platforms, too. I suppose you could try loading something on your TV’s browser and see if it works? It’d probably be super clunky but it would do until there’s a dedicated app.

1·1 year agoFWIW, if you have a Fire TV, Peertube seems to work in Silk. Well, mostly. I couldn’t get thumbnails to play, but the video itself ran smoothly on its own page.

The tumblr version of this blog seems to have posted Walter Molino stuff as far back as 2018, so I’m inclined to say not slop.
