Liberals are the ones inactive and taking negative action.
They did nothing about trump, they did nothing about healthcare, they did nothing about climate, they did nothing about wages.
They supported Trump’s immigration policies, they funded ICE to extreme levels, they voted to fund surveillance programs, they continue to support the genocide.
It’s not the lesser of two evils it’s the same evil: capitalism and imperialism.
Well that’s just nonsense. Any criticism of the democratic party, a famously spineless and dismissive organization, is a psyop?
A party that has collaborated with the Republicans the whole way? Going so far as to make ICE one of the best funded militaries in the world?

Progressive Politics@lemmy.world•Tom Homan lied. The fascist paramilitary invaders are still in Minnesota. Don't stop until ICE is abolished. Patrol, Observe, Support, and Stay Viigilant. (2/12/26)
12·6 months agoY’all need to look at Tom Homann’s history. He’s the guy responsible for Obama’s sky high deportation rate while you heard barely a peep on the news. He did this by moving to night time raids and covert operations.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What Fediverse instances would you recommend to others?
2·6 months agoOn a slightly different note NodeBB is very cool and worth checking out. Did those unaware it’s a Goodreads, Letterboxd, Steam Reviews, etc all rolled into one.
How to Survive Anti-Police Protests by Shane Burley is an appropriate primer for demo beginner.
The Black Flag Catalyst Revolt Guide by Black Flag Catalyst is a more detailed guide on protest tactics.
If you are interested in studying crowd control tactics in demo. Here are the resources: The Master’s Tools and Warrior Crowd Control & Riot Manual
CrimethInc also have extensive resources on demonstration guides:

Indigenous Anarchist Federation also have some extensive guides on PPE and comm

Strange stipulation for a fediverse app.

Men's Liberation@lemmy.ca•The cure for male loneliness is feminism. Seriously.
903·8 months agoFrom the article:
Not the feminism aimed at merely—in the words of psychology professor Darby Saxbe—"emulating men and outcompeting them on the terrain they have constructed.” Not the feminism the late bell hooks called “trickle-down theory: the [flawed] assumption that having more women at the top of corporate hierarchies would make the work world better for all women, including women on the bottom.”
No, the feminism that fights for a society where everyone of all genders has more time and energy to care about people outside of work.
Bottom up democratic structures. Remove the unitary executive and make all representatives instantly recallable.
A single endorsement doesn’t change a decade of fighting progressive politics.
Martin only waited till after the primary, because he legit believes a party shouldn’t be biased. But he ran Minnesota for a decade, and under his watch they went from purple to progressive as fuck.
To be correct. Ken Martin hates DSA and socialists. Most of his time in Minnesota was spent purging DSA members from the party. Minnesota went left in spite of him.
It’s funny because that’s actually the original understanding of the term homophobia. It’s why it’s a phobia and not queerism or similar (a la racism).

Lol that’s not at all what I’m saying. I have health problems out the wazoo and doctors in so far as I have been able to afford them have not been any sort of help for anything more complicated than the flu.

The reality is that almost no self sustaining artists can afford each other’s work. Instead artists are forced to charge prices other artists would consider their entire grocery bill. Instead they have to hope they can either get patronage from the wealthy or some sort of corporation.
