If you’re from outside Minnesota I’m talking about casserole and pasta salad.
And pasta salad is not the midwest mayo-layered trifle thingy.
Additionally, as a Minnesotan, I know of people who think ketchup is a “hot sauce”. These are the scary ones.
California is cool. All of the cool in all of Minnesota came specifically and exclusively from Prince, and now that it’s dead the cool is decaying in to stable un-cool particles.
