Some one needs to make a post from Memorial Drive or the Marda Loop or Crowchild Trail. I mean I will when I get back to Canada again but that may not be for a while. I can say that there used to be great Poppyseed Buns on 17th ave among other things. Vitamin Warehouse in Kensington totally used to be a thing Deborah Burkhart was an amazing master herbalist and certified iridologist. Calagary its been a minute but I still have fond memories of the Bow River and the Bike trails

You may want to check out !calgary@lemmy.ca, it’s established and more active. Well it’s not very active however you’d be surprised how much interaction you can get from a post on a small community.
On Lemmy there can be multiple communities (what we call subreddits) with the same name, which can be confusing to new users.
Generally you can head to https://thelemmy.club/communities and select “All” instead of “Local”. It will tell you which community is largest when you search for one, which is normally the best one to use. Unless you have some kind of issue with the moderation there.
