Even a public 50% stake is really unlikely to succeed, but at least it’s a tiny bit probable (everyone is still massively rich, but they lose some power … which in a broken system/without a good governing body/agency/committee isn’t worth much, but at least there is a system in pace place for things to get “better”/not that much worse in wealth concentration & ppl exploitation sense). Perhaps massive national security reasons, that alone is a good-enough cause to do it … if anyone cares about that.
