Spent the last two days sleeping and not eating, my blood sugar was sky high and I’ve got a doctor’s appointment this afternoon.
Took a bunch of insulin to keep the levels down, haven’t eaten and feel like I just need to lay down.
Luckily I don’t have any more pto so I’m at the office.

I just think that the idea the fash win that 99/100 is not correct. Maybe that’s my hopium but I gotta be honest I think they’re in for a real nasty surprise and the fash don’t really do well regarding their own hubris and estimating their enemies.
So much of the conservative political movement has been astroturfed and even this DSA revival has been real people putting real work in. And as much shit as the DSA gets, there’s some real radicals in there dragging the org left.
If and when the shooting starts, these communities are already built, the relationships are there. That’s really hard to defeat even with the loose organizing like patriot front.
I see your idea. I do think it’s socialism or barbarism. And I think the contradictions are sharpening hard in the imperial core.
The cost of living is out of control meaning that there will need to be some concessions. But that’s been spiraling out of control since the 80s. We might be finally at a breaking point but we’ll need to see some juice from politicians.

I think you’re getting a little ahead of actual results. DSA succdem candidates have started winning a bit but that’s really far from the entire US going succdem.
But still I think it’s worth thinking about. Maybe nothing? I want fully automated luxury gay space communism. But succdems are a whole hell of a lot better than ice agent fascist death squads.
That will leave the actual fight to the next generation but there’s not a whole lot I can do about that. Treats to the working class will neuter any revolutionary spirit.
