This guy is insufferable. Sure, what he’s doing is sort of impressive for a moment. But it’s just like a fancy technique trick. Not really songs. I would challenge anyone to sit through an entire album of that. Every video I’ve seen of him is basically “look what i can do”.
Someone needs to show him a series of videos called “HOW SONGWRITING WORKS”.
I won’t deny that Marcin gives off a pretentious air and leans hard into complexity over songwriting / musical phrasing, but calling that level of coordination a “trick” is a bit reductive no? It’s not something anyone can do.
I’m not denying that he’s good at what he does. To me it’s WAY heavier on the side of “impressive performance” than it is “pleasant or interesting to listen to”. Is stunt a better word than trick?

Playing well an instrument has nothing to do with being a good composer though. Music (usually) needs both to work.
