The final part of the last mission (Mission 20) is genuinely the worst level of any Ace Combat I have played.
I spent the whole day trying t hit that slow drone flying in circles in a building 😡 Who approved that level design anyway? For this reason, I will not be buying Ace Combat 8 until I confirm it does not have a similar level design.
Taking down arsenal bird was fun, taking down the 2 new prototype drones was fun but the last part ABSOLUTELY took away all I have enjoyed in this game.
ONE MORE THING… after trying 5 million times to shooot down the slow moving drone, they programmed the game to make your plane drift while trying to fly out of the the building through the chimney-tunnel thing… one small mistake… BOOM… Restart from next checkpoint a.k.a shoot down the slow moving drone again…for the 5,000,001st time
Really disappointed with this game to be honest. It is not one I would like to keep around and play when I am bored. Time to sell the disc and retire from Ace Combat.
This game could be rightly named, ACE COMBAT 7: ARTIFICIAL DIFFICULTY and you will be correct.
The game devs here know how to zap all the fun from a game.
